Marine Le Pen : ‘I will stop mass immigration and free the French people

The National Front leader led a chorus of the French national anthem as she vowed to curb mass immigration, implement tighter border controls and restore France’s independence.

She made an appeal “to all patriots” to get behind her party in the final round of voting, taking place on March 7, as she hopes to wipe the floor with Emmanuel Macron.

The firebrand said: “I accept the responsibility of taking part in the second round of voting with humility and gratitude.

“I would like to express to you that this is an historic result and now we have an enormous responsibility to defend the French culture.

“You will get a France that protects the people, we will not have the free circulation of terrorists.

This is why millions of French people will vote Marine Le Pen for president

Marine Le Pen will take on Emmanuel Macron in the second round of the French presidential election on May 7th. Here voters tell us why she is the best candidate.

Marine Le Pen has lambasted by her rivals, criticised by leading economists and business leaders, declared public enemy number one by most politicians outside her party and had war declared on her by sextremists Femen.

Yet on Sunday in the first round of the French presidential election somewhere between seven and eight million French people are expected to vote for her as the next president of France.

We asked some of those voters who attended her raucous rally in Paris to tell us why, in just one sentence or two.

  1. Very strange. I just did a WordPress “search” for Marine Le Pen, it came up blank. Then I punched in “Macron” and all sorts of listings pop up. Is WordPress doing a Facebook? Can’t help but wonder.
